Reflexology

Reflexology is a method for activating the healing powers of the body. It is both old and new as ancient texts and pictures show that early Chinese, Japanese, Russian and Egyptians worked on the feet to promote good health. Today, many of these same techniques have been developed into a modern scientific method called Reflexology.  With a special intensive massage of the feet and the ears, the organs, glands and body parts are influenced, and in this way stimulating the healing powers of the body.  Reflexology reduces stress, and induces deep relaxation.

The treatment is done on the feet, by warming up the feet, massage of the feet, pressing zonal areas on the feet and finally, a massage to end.  The sole of the foot is directly linked to the organs and zones of your body, by applying pressure to areas of the foot, we can improve circulation, cleanse the body of toxins and impurities, balance the whole system, and revitalise your energy. 

Our treatment is an hour, and this includes a foot bathe with essential oils, plus a moisturising Vitamin E /Essential oil cream for the feet.  The Essential Oils are tailored for you, and your needs.

What aftercare can you expect from SAOL Therapies?

Once the treatment is finished, it’s essential to drink lots of water or herbal teas to boost the immune system and help the lymphatic system do its job.  We’ll have a chat about the treatment, and we very much welcome feedback from you.  In a day or so, if you wish, we will give you a call to check how you are following the treatment.  There is no obligation to buy more treatments, however regular treatments do give you a boost, both physically and mentally.  We welcome everyone, who would like to give any of our treatments a try!

In order for SAOL Therapies to give you the best possible treatment please let me know, before visiting, if you suffer from any serious medical conditions, especially if related to the nervous system e.g. epilepsy or to the heart and circulation; in some cases we may need to seek permission from your GP before proceeding with any treatment.
